- I just got a Colorado Jumbo 250. The drive runs fine, but let me tell you
- about some problems with the software. I got mine and I started to run
- it under Win 3.1 enhanced mode. Well the software that came with it Ver2.54
- was supposed to run under windows, kept on telling me there was a controller
- problem. Running under DOS or Win3.1 standard mode the thing worked.
-
- My version of Norton Backup for Windows didn't work to well either in 386
- ehanced mode.
-
- When you get the drive, check the software version, you can pickup 3.03 at
- wuarchive under msdos/dskutl/jumbo303.zip.
-
- If you have problems with Norton Backup get the real version by doing an
- Alt-F10 and going to the bottom of the list. You will need this version
- and the ROM version from the drive. They will look it up in their list and
- tell you you need a new version.
-
- The drive is a good drive, the software will drive you crazy.
