  38. I wonder, my 286 has AMI bios 04/09/90 (or 09/04/90). Originally it had
  39. 1 Mb memory, I increased it to 3Mb and enabled shadowing for BIOS and
  40. Video, it clicked to 3072. Then I added 2Mb and now it clicks to 5120.
  41. I always thought it checks the whole memory whether one has shadowing
  42. enabled or not, I may be wrong.
  43. Are you sure that your chips (simms, sipps) are all ok? I mean that is
  44. what it does while booting, tests the menory.
