- I wonder, my 286 has AMI bios 04/09/90 (or 09/04/90). Originally it had
- 1 Mb memory, I increased it to 3Mb and enabled shadowing for BIOS and
- Video, it clicked to 3072. Then I added 2Mb and now it clicks to 5120.
- I always thought it checks the whole memory whether one has shadowing
- enabled or not, I may be wrong.
- Are you sure that your chips (simms, sipps) are all ok? I mean that is
- what it does while booting, tests the menory.
