  16. I bought an Escom Blackmate IV 33MHz Notebook in Germany. The same
  17. thing is distributed here in Singapore by IPC, albeit with only
  18. 25Mhz, called Porta PC. It has a funny COM2 port. It is a very small
  19. 15-pin connector. IPC sells trackballs to be connected there, including
  20. one that has a builtin Fax-Modem. But I want to connect some other
  21. serial mouse there. So I called IPC to find out what the pin-layout is
  22. and whether I can get a connector to plug in there. I got the
  23. pin-description, but no-one seems to have spare connectors so that I
  24. can make my own converter to 9-pin :-(

  44. My problem is now to get the connector. It is *very* small, about 2cm in
  45. length with 15 pins in 1 row. I had a sneak look at the IPC trackball,
  46. and the connector had something like S15P..... stamped onto it, what I
  47. guess means sub-15-pin... but I lost that piece of paper.

  49. Could anyone outthere give me a tip on how to get hold of that piece?
  50. ESCOM in Germany also was no help :-(.
