  12. I am looking for a memory manager for a at286 type computer which will do 
  13. the following;
  14. 1. load device drivers and tsr into high memory (between 640k and 1024k.
  15. 2. be able to emmulate both extended and expanded memory.

  17. Of course ideal if I had a 386 I would use emm386.exe which comes with dos 5.
  18. So I am looking for something equivelant to emm386.exe except to be able to 
  19. use in a 286. Dos does not seem to support a memory manager for a 286. I 
  20. heard that dos 4.0 had a memory manager for a 286 called, something like , 
  21. xma286.sys (not sure of the exact spelling). Is there anything equivalent 
  22. for a 286. I prefer freeware/shareware. I have both a modem and access to 
  23. telnet. Please respond via e-mail. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly 
  24. appreaciate it.
