-
- Both ports are present, and if two hosts are connected the first
- host accessing it's respective port get's serviced. If another job
- come's in on the other port, it waits and will get printed when the
- first ports finishes. Of course this also means that if the sending
- hosts don't have some way of "buffering" it's output, the waiting
- job could "hang" the secondary sending host, until the first job
- finishes and the second (waiting job) starts and transmits successfully.
-
- Some applications can misinterpret this "wait" to mean that the printer
- is down, out of paper or plain non-existant.
-
- Still, it's a nice standard feature and the print quality is wonderful.
- You can also install up to 34MB of memory in this printer. I'm not
- sure if more memory might help free the ports faster or not.
