  14. I've recently acquired at 286-12 system without docs.
  15. What I need to find is the (probable) function of the jumpers.

  17. Here is what I know about the system:

  19.     286-12
  20.     VLSI Chipset
  21.     Phoenix Bios 3.10
  22.     Made in Taiwan ROC
  23.     There's a sticker on the board with RN8910 on it
  24.     It appears to accept up to 1 meg of 41256s or
  25.     4 meg of 44256 or 1x9 SIPPs
  26.  
  27. There are 7 (?) jumpers (what I'd like to know about):
  28.  
  29.     J1 - adjacent BIOS (for adjusting bios size?)
  30.     J2 - \
  31.     J3 -  - adjacent VLSI chip VL82C102A
  32.     J4 - /
  33.     J5 - Non Existent (at least I can't find it :)
  34.     J6 - In the vicinity of the CPU
  35.     J7 - \
  36.     J8 -  - Near the keyboard/CMOS area
  37.  
  38. There are also 3 connectors (other than the Front Panel stuff)
  39.  
  40.     CN1 - Mystery 4 pin between CMOS and CN2
  41.     CN2 - Keyboard connector
  42.     CN3 - Power
  43.  
  44. Any information that can be added to this would be helpful
  45.
