  18. I've got the gateway machine (66DX2 Vesa) and it only takes 4MB or 16MB
  19. simms, or some combination of the two. However, it can accept at most 2 of
  20. the 16MB simms built using the old parts. (The limitation was supposed to be
  21. because of the extra capacitance of these parts)

  23. I did something similar - I ordered 16MB and requested it on 1 simm. I got
  24. the system on time, but it was someone elses order! Since it was the same
  25. machine, but with different S/W and only 8MB, I exchanged the S/W and had
  26. them refund me for the memory.
