- I ran Winbench, ver 3.1 on my new GW 2000 DX2 66V. The system is their
- default one - 8 Mb RAM, 64K cache, 340 Mb WD drive. I got 15.3 million
- winmarks at 640 X 480, 800 X 600, and 1024 by 768 (or whatever) using the
- Mach32 driver that came with the system (received 1/4/93 (3 weeks after
- ordering)). I had 256 colors at the 2 lower resolutions - don't remember
- what it was at the highest.
-
- Although I am overjoyed with the speed of the system, I vaguely remember
- seeing advertisements or reviews reporting > 20 million Winmarks for the
- system. I would like to compare my results with others who have run this
- software. Please post responses here or E-mail to:

- One more thing... does anybody have a sense of how much
- difference in performance there would be with 256 K cache?
