- I use a script to add new accounts, which I can either mail to you, or
- post here if there is enough interest; my version sets the same password
- for each new account, but I then sit down with the user and make them
- login and change it. I also have 'makepasswd' which will generate
- reasonable passwords (but it needs modification to insert digits to make
- HP-UX happy, though root can set any password they like), and
- 'Cryptpasswd' which will encrypt a plain text password with a specified
- salt, so putting all this together would do it for you. I can mail these
- programs or post them (they both came from USENET in the first place).
