  18. Around here we have some HP 700/RX X terminals with the BW monitor,
  19. 98774A, after some time the screen grew dimmer and dimmer, it was
  20. almost unusable. I called HP and reported the problem, they came over
  21. and readjusted the internal controls of the screen.

  23. Now I'm just waiting till I have to call them again, they can't
  24. mess with the adjustments anymore and have to get us some new
  25. monitors.

  27. It was reported in the net that HP replaced the 98774A's with 98774B's
  28. but our local HP office say they don't know nothing about it.

  30. On the funny side, the first time I reported the problem to HP I
  31. mentioned some kind of "brightness problem", guess what ... They
  32. didn't fix the monitors because the real problem was lack of contrast.
