  15. The RC25 is a half-fixed half-removable drive that was used (at least)
  16. in the VAX-11/725 (deskside version).  I believe that each portion was
  17. 25MB (or very close) so the whole drive had a capacity of 50 or so MB.
  18. I believe that DEC marketed "external" versions of these as well,
  19. presumedly for the VAX/11-7xx family, but they may have also had them
  20. for the DEC Professionals or whatever that PC-ish thing before the
  21. Rainbow was.  :-)  I don't really remember for sure...

  23. Say... do you happen to have one you want to get rid of? :-)  The local
  24. University ACM chapter has a VAX-11/725 with the internal RC25 drive but
  25. the power supply for the RC25 doesn't work (the rest of the 11/725 seems
  26. OK), so I know they're in the market for one cheap (they're students after
  27. all :-).  If so, please reply email...
