- Hello Fellow Atari 8-bitters,
-
- Back in July I coordinated an effort on this group to create a list of all
- cartridges produced for the Atari line of computers. Before very long we
- had compiled a list of over 300 cartridges from a variety of publishers. I
- have reposted the list on a few occasions since then and have received only
- a few more additions and corrections. I'd like to consider the project
- finished but the list has various short comings which should be addressed.
- I hope that perhaps I can catch the attention of some people who may have
- missed the original postings, and with their help produce a more accurate
- list of all Atari cartidges.
-
- To save bandwidth, and because the list is essentially unchanged from
- its last posting I am not reposting it now. If you want or need a copy
- of it just drop me a note and I'll email you a copy. Instead I am
- to post a description of the information missing in the hope that
- someone out their can fill some of it in for me. Thanks for listening.
-
- The following cartridges I need the serial numbers for.
- Atari Atarilab carts, Deflector.
- Activision Keystone Kapers, Zenji, Beamrider, Decathlon, Pastfinder,
- The Designer's Pencil, The Dreadnought Factor
- CBS Software Most of them
- ParkerBros All except Frogger and Death Star Battle
- Sega Tac-Scan, Spy Hunter, Tapper, Up N Down, Frogger II, Sup Zaxxon
- Spinnaker All except Delta Drawing
- ThornEMI Hockey, Orc Attack, Darts, Tank Commander
-
- The following manufacturers of carts may have put serial numbers on their
- carts, but might not have. If someone owns any carts by Broderbund, Fisher
- Price, First Star, Gebelli, Roklan, Romox, Sierra On Line, Sirius, or
- Synapse could you see if there are any serial numbers on these carts and
- email me what you find.
-
- For those who are interested I also have lists of 2600, 5200 and 7800 games.
-
- I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this project. I was
- pleasantly surprised at the response to my request for help creating this
- list, and am indebted to the dozens of people who have sent me additions,
- corrections, and words of encouragement. As always I will be posting a
- new version of the list as soon as enough changes warrant it.
