- By any chance, do your disks have the letters "HD" on them? What you're
- describing sounds as if you're formatting a high-density floppy. On the IIgs,
- you're formatting it as an 800K disk; but the Mac sees it as a 1.44MB disk,
- so it's not readable. When formatted on the Mac, it's a 1.44MB disk, which
- the 800K drive on the IIgs can't read.
