  26. C= removed the speech synthesis libraries in order to save money.  In my
  27. opinion, this was not smart, since speech synthesis is one of the few remaining
  28. features of the Amiga that set it apart from all the rest (aside from a true
  29. multitasking operating system :-).

  31. I think your replacement didn't work because it was not a complete replacement. 
  32. There are _two_ libraries necessary for speech synthesis, translator.library
  33. (which translates words into corresponding phonetics) and narrator.library
  34. (which actually provides the speech synthesis).
