- I have used this package now for two or three weeks (it's time for registering 8) ).
-
- Here some basic impressions:
-
- - On my A4000 and on a friends A3000 it just flies.
- - Till now I never had any Problems with CompressDisk, and there was much
- traffic on the compressed disk !!!
- - There were no enforcer-hits.
- - I used ReOrg with CompressDisk and the compressed Disk is now much faster.
- - 70MB disk-contents is reduced to 50MB (There are much executables on the disk)
- - It is totally transparent in use.
- - There is a problem with temporary files, because the place of deleted files is
- not cleared by the filesystem.
-
- I will try XPK, but I don't think it's better than CompressDisk...
-
-
- Ciao Andreas
