- I got the distribution of dnet 2.10.13, and am currently trying
- to use it with a 3-wire serial connection. (RxD, TxD and ground).
- According to the docs of the earlier dnet 2.10, it should work,
- providing you switched off looking for Carrier Detect. However,
- it doesn't do anything. When starting DNet with dnet -X -m0 -h0,
- and selecting 'start DNET' from the menu, it starts fterm and
- then does nothing (I got another DNet running on the other side).
- Both preferences are okay (19200, 8 bit, no parity, 1 stopbit,
- Xon/Xoff), and the connection is okay (I can succesfully sned
- MIDI data over this line). So, do I need to connect some other
- lines of the serial as well? (Or connect them locally?)
-
- Thanks,
- Louis
