  10. Problem with WB 2.1:

  12.   Help!  I just got the 2.1 "Enhancer" and _love_ it except for
  13.   one small detail:

  15.           The "path" command no longer works!

  17.   Well, actually, it works if I pop up a shell and type:

  19.           path SYS:Tools add
  20.  
  21.   But, I can't get the path command to work while in the startup-sequence.
  22.   I get no errors, no messages, just nothing.

  24.   For instance, in my startup-sequence, I put the following:

  26.           path System2.1:Tools add
  27.  
  28.   and deleted the huge path assigment included (with no "add" on the end)
  29.  
  30.   The is the ONLY change in the startup-sequence and I am running NO
  31.   commodities or utilities.  Just the "stock" system.

  33.   After the system boots up, I open a shell, type "path show" and
  34.   I get:

  36.               Current_directory
  37.               C:
  38.  
  39.   OK, what happened to my Tools addition?  It did not take place.
  40.   Now, if I type "path System2.1:Tools add" then type "path show" I get:

  42.               Current_directory
  43.               System2.1:Tools
  44.               C:

  46.   What's the deal?  I _NEED_ those path assignments.
  47.   They don't work while in a script!  Not even in "user-startup"
