  19. Good. Trying to maintain RO2 compatability severely restricts use of the new
  20. RO3 features, and I for one don't want to wait for another 3 years before
  21. some truly RO3.10 compatible software is available.

  26. Well, just for starters, there are things like the 3-d icon borders, which
  27. under 3.00 were 'B' validation strings, and under 3.10 are 'R' ones.
  28. Just these 'small' things make for great headaches trying to ensure that
  29. your software runs perfectly on the 3 different OS versions that are
  30. currently rife. Easiest solution: Don't try. Just make it compatible with
  31. the latest OS release and take advantage of all the new features that you
  32. need.
