- Simon, you have mentioned 3 times recently that we won't be dissapointed by
- our long waits for the A5000 RO3.1 upgrades - why is this? Are Acorn about
- to launch a RO3.2 - or a bug fixed RO3.1 (RO3.11 perhaps)?
-
- About alternate dealers:
-
- Me: 'Have you any A5000 RO3.1 upgrades in stock?'
- Dealer: 'Yes.'
- Me: 'If I give you my credit card number can you put one in the post
- TODAY?'
- Dealer: 'Err, well, err, they will be in stock any day now...'
- Me: 'So you HAVN'T got any in stock...'
- Dealer: 'Any day now.'
- Me: 'When WILL you have some in stock?'
- Dealer: 'Any day now.'
- Dealer: 'Any day now.'
- Dealer: 'Any day now.'
- Dealer: 'Any day now.'
- ...
-
- At least NCS claim that they havn't got the faintest clue when (or if)
- they will have any more, and that time would be better spent annoying Acorn
- rather than them. (Which is why I have taken to occupying comp.sys.acorn
- bandwidth with this line of whinging!)
-
- Further, the NCS price of L20 inclusive of VAT and postage seems
- competetive, is the inclusive price that much cheaper elsewhere?
