- No, I don't believe that. The reason is more likely to be because Acorn
- would prefer to let people upgrade RISC OS 2 -> RISC OS 3.1 than from
- RISC OS 3.0 -> RISC OS 3.1. A5000 owners already have many of the benefits
- of RISC OS 3, but have already got past the "I like it" stage.

- (This reminds me of a discussion on here about a year ago, when we were
- debating who Acorn should supply with RISC OS 3.1 upgrades first.......)

-
- I would never say that. Acorn wants everyone to upgrade, but if there is
- a shortage of ROM sets, they have got to decide who should receive the
- upgrades first, RISC OS 2 users or RISC OS 3.00 users.

-
- Come on Ian, you are over-reacting somewhat. There is no way it would be
- in Acorn's commercial interests to stop production of the upgrade packs.
- There is just some reason (...) why they cannot supply as many upgrade
- packs at the moment as they would like to. I am sure that you will find
- this situation will change before very long, and you will have double
- reason for being happy.

- As I've said so many times, go to another dealer! Why have you waited so long
- for NCS to supply? If any dealer took that long to supply, and others had the
- item in stock for less money, I know which I'd go to.
