- SOFTWARE ENGINEERING POSITION - PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY
-
- The Department of Computer Science at Portland State (one of three
- universities in the Oregon State System of Higher Education) has a
- tenure-track position we would like to fill with a researcher/teacher
- software engineer. The position was established by a generous grant
- from Tektronix, with continuing state funding.
-
- We are interested in applicants at all levels. A PhD is required.
- Interaction with local industry (Tektronix, Intel, Sequent, Mentor
- Graphics, etc.) is an important part of the job. Teaching load is one
- course/term. Computer-systems support is more than adequate. The
- present software-engineering research group includes Sergio Antoy, Dick
- Hamlet, Warren Harrison, and Ralph London.
-
- A detailed description of the position appears in our advertisement in
- the December IEEE COMPUTER (p. 77), or by e-mail from cmps@cs.pdx.edu.
