  11. SOFTWARE ENGINEERING POSITION - PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY

  13. The Department of Computer Science at Portland State (one of three
  14. universities in the Oregon State System of Higher Education) has a
  15. tenure-track position we would like to fill with a researcher/teacher
  16. software engineer.  The position was established by a generous grant
  17. from Tektronix, with continuing state funding.
  18.  
  19. We are interested in applicants at all levels.  A PhD is required.
  20. Interaction with local industry (Tektronix, Intel, Sequent, Mentor
  21. Graphics, etc.) is an important part of the job.  Teaching load is one
  22. course/term.  Computer-systems support is more than adequate.  The
  23. present software-engineering research group includes Sergio Antoy, Dick
  24. Hamlet, Warren Harrison, and Ralph London.
