  26. It is very common these days for routers to set up packet filters
  27. that differentiate between FTP and TELNET. Many sites do not allow ANY
  28. incoming TELNET traffic. The hosts that are unreachable by TELNET but
  29. can be reached by FTP, are they hosts that you have been explicitly
  30. authorized to TELNET to ? Do you have (legal) accounts on them ?

  35. In general it is considered to be extremely rude to be too busy to read
  36. the replies to your own postings ... You may not have time to read all
  37. the news every day, but you should set aside time to read the groups to
  38. which you are posting ...
