- It is very common these days for routers to set up packet filters
- that differentiate between FTP and TELNET. Many sites do not allow ANY
- incoming TELNET traffic. The hosts that are unreachable by TELNET but
- can be reached by FTP, are they hosts that you have been explicitly
- authorized to TELNET to ? Do you have (legal) accounts on them ?
