- Hello Slip experts,
-
- I have gotten public-domain slip (Slip-4.0) working on the Sun4 and
- Sun4c over T3000 telebit modems. I use kermit to dial out to a Sun4
- and then invoke `sliplogin', get back to the the Sun4c, suspend kermit and
- invoke sliplogin. The connection remains and works fine for a day or
- 2 and then takes both the systems down giving `mbuf map full' kind of
- an error. I had downloaded a patch called 100149-03 and applied on both
- the machines hoping the problem would be taken care of. IT does not help
- apparently. (This patch was obtained from the same site where the slip
- distribution was kept).
- Does any one know about thsi problem? Is it something silly that I am missing
- or so? I am using the serial port on the cpu board for slip connection( ttya)
- Any help would be appreciated.
- Thank you very much.
