  12.                       SURVEY OF NETWORKED MULTIMEDIA

  15. The survey of distributed multimedia comissioned by RARE, for which
  16. information was solicited recently, has been completed.  The final
  17. survey report is called:
  18.  
  19. "A Survey of Distributed Multimedia Research, Standards and Products",
  20. First Edition, 25 January 1993. 
  21.  
  22. The final report contains responses received up to 22 January 1993.  It
  23. is over 150 pages long, and contains information on over 50 research
  24. projects, 40 standards and 35 products.

  26. By agreement with the chair of the RARE Multimedia Working Group, the
  27. survey report is now available by anonymous ftp.  It may be found on:
