  13. Do any of the appleshare fileservice via NFS compete in speed with
  14. native appleshare service over ethertalk? Our only experience is with

  16.         MAC->(ethertalk)->gatorbox->(nfs)->Sun

  18. which the Mac intensive people say is much slower that fileservice from
  19. a native appleshare server. Our gatorbox is rather old so this may not
  20. be a state of the art comparision.

  23. itself.
