  16. I am currently using QuickC 2.5 to develop a simple computational fluid 
  17. dynamics program.  I am running from a full screen Dos session, and all the
  18. graphics calls I use seem to work just fine.  However, I decided  tn a
  19. test case in the background and OS/2 said it could not support the graphics
  20. mode in a window.  This is somewhat puzzling since the graphics mode is 
  21. 640x480x16 (_VRES16COLOR, for those of you who have used the MS routines),
  22. and the desktop is running 800x600x256.
  23.  
  24. Is this a problem with the CSD TSENG drivers, MS QC, or simply some setting
  25. that I need to change?

  27. Current setup is:
  28.     GA+SP TSENG 800x600x256 driver
  29.     Diamond Speedstar HiColor (TSENG 4000 + HiColor RAMDAC)

  33. BTW:  What is the difficulty level increase in going to OS/2 non-PM programming
  34.     with graphics (and PM for that matter)?
