- Due to the pleasing response I got from my initial posting, I've decided to
- go ahead and begin work on a (hopefully) monthly electronic magazine for
- OS/2 developers.
-
- So, what I need is this: articles. I will be privately contacting people via
- e-mail who have already responded either on the group or by mail to myself,
- but anyone else is more than welcome to volunteer. :)
-
- So, if you have an idea, please email me (to keep this group's traffic down)
- and I'll make sure no one else has already submitted the same thing. I'm
- also open to requests for articles/features/etc. I hope to release issue #1
- by mid to late February at the latest, so get those submissions in!
-
- I'm also taking suggestions for: a) a cool title, since the subject of this
- message would be way too unwieldly; and b) votes for either .txt or .inf
- format (or both for that matter.)
-
- The best title idea I've come up with so far is "OS/2 Programmer's Monthly"
- since the initials make for an interesting play on words (OS/2 PM). My only
- real problem with it is that it will be silly if I don't get one out every
- month. :)
-
- Thanks to all for their interest, and I hope to be speaking to you again
- with my 'editor' hat on real soon.

- while writing this post with a dos newsreader, i played a modfile in the
- background, compiled a 32bit presentation manager application, and printed
- a 1.4 meg postscript document. try doing that in windows.
