- I have a ZEOS 486 EISA tower at home running OS/2. I'm looking for a good
- video card to upgrade my flaky Diamond Speedstar.
-
- (The thing throws ASCII bits all over the screen when I open a DOS or OS/2
- window and move the mouse back into the WPS. It had similar bad behavior
- under DOS, specifically while installing PCTools 7.1 -- I could hardly read
- the screen by the end of the install. Thought I had a virus or Central
- Point was putting out bugs to combat bugs.)
-
- I would like some suggestions on a fast, solid, video card that has good
- OS/2 drivers. Any thoughts? I don't have a local bus slot.
-
- My ideal would be coprocessed EISA, equal to or better than XGA-2, with lots
- of VRAM. I probably couldn't afford it even if someone made the beast.
- But, I could be tempted...
-
- If replies warrant *and* I can figure out how, I will summarize for the
- 'Net. I am *not* a UNIX wizard.
