  13. The Adaptec 1742 drivers on Hobbes have a later date than those supplied
  14. with the GA release.

  16. 1.    Are they better drivers?  Will I notice a difference?

  22. Is there a way to increase the hard disk cache?  My system has 16MB RAM and
  23. still hits the HD more than I like.  Admittedly, this is when I am running
  24. Paradox 4.0, WordPerfect 5.1 and Darklands.  The last is the culprit, I
  25. think.  When inspecting a group of characters, Darklands seems to hit the
  26. disk a lot.  When I was still using DOS, I upped my PCTools cache and
  27. stopped this.
