- Hi there!
-
- When I installed the generic "Trident" drivers on my ATI VGAWonder system,
- I discovered that Windows real mode programs would no longer run.
- (the real mode app is the scanning program from the ScanMan Plus. I
- really have no urge to spend $75 to upgrade to FotoTouch).
-
- When I re-installed my normal ATI full-screen Windows driver, the program
- would run again.
-
- So, I was wondering if the 2.1 beta still supports real mode Windows, or if
- Logitech is going to get a real upgrade program anytime soon.
-
- Also, if the beta seems to not support real mode windows, is it only the
- drivers that are the culprits? Somebody mentioned that they are Panacea's
- WinSpeed drivers, which disallow Windows real mode, even under DOS/Windows.
