- I think that *no* OS/2 reader will work with PKZip 2.04, period, because
- 2.04C is a *DOS* zipper. OS/2 readers will only work with OS/2 zippers.
- An OS/2 version of PKZip 2.04 is said to be in the works.
-
- I got it to work OK with Bluewave in a DOS session after a month of
- trying. The trick was in adding the key "-)" to the zipper file
- specification in the Setup, Archivers, ZIP. Thus, my two Zip lines read:
-
- D:\LIBRARY\POOF\PKZIP.EXE #F @I -)
- D:\LIBRARY\POOF\PKUNZIP.EXE #F #I -)
-
- #F @I are stock BW coded thingies.
-
- Early on, following advice, I set EMS, DPMI and XMS TO 0 trying to get
- it to work, but there was no result. Later, I put in the -) and it
- worked. I didn't then revise the EMS et al, because it worked fine like
- that.
