- I agree. You should email Gravis and tell them (a lot cheaper than long
- distance call :) Especially if you get email for FREE :) ). In fact,
- even if you're not an Ultrasound owner/owner-to-be/not even thinking
- about getting anything at all, we should all write to Gravis to let them
- know that OS/2 is for real, and is here to stay. They seem to be taking
- OS/2 VERY lightly and we should let all computing companies know that
- there are plenty of us out there using OS/2 and it is to THEIR benefit
- th they should support OS/2. OS/2 still doesn't seem to get as accepted
- among developpers as it should be (all the bad press haven't helped
- either, and the media all jumping pover to Microsoft's side).
-
- So whether you're thinking about getting an Ultrasound or not, please
- email Gravis telling them that OS/2 is for real. And unless they get
- their act together, especially since all these other soundcards are
- supporting OS/2, you're taking your business elsewhere!
-
- On the Gravis BBS, they said that OS/2 is very low in their priority
- right now. This shouldn't be. Let's give them a good waking up with bulk
- email. Here are their addresses...
-
- Alan's, the guy, email address is 71333.350@compuserve.com.
-
- AND
-
- Chris Yuzik's, the salesguy, email address is yuzik@sfu.ca.
-
- You should write to both addresses. Same message would be fine.
- Let's let them know OS/2 has a large global base of loyal users,
- and growing everyday!
-
- Thomas.
