- I believe the general breakdown is:
- OS/2 2.0
- OS/2 2.0 + Corrective Service Diskettes
- OS/2 2.0 + Corrective Service Diskettes + WIN-OS/2 3.1 beta
- OS/2 2.1 beta
-
- I do not own a SoundBlaster or strange video card (I have a Trident), so
- results on this list may vary as what exactly is an upgrade. More
- individual bug fixes (like _just_ the HPFS.IFS fix in
- individual form) are available from hobbes.nmsu.edu in a bugfixes directory.
-
- For all that you ask for, you should probably go for one of the last two.
- The beta is nice for me, but has had mixed results for others.

- Again, I like the beta, but I too have had a few problems with system crashes
- (like from exiting WIN-OS/2 3.1 and using the ALT and CTRL keys). But I
- thought it was worth it. The beta is available on CD-ROM directly from IBM
- (I think), but if you have 29 disks laying around, you may obtain it from
- several FTP sites (including hobbes.nmsu.edu and possibly
- software.ibm.watson.com.)
