- I installed this under 2.1b on my PS/2 model 90. It seems like the package
- does just about everything one could want, but has one rather annoying flaw.
- I found that my machine would periodically lock up completely - no mouse,
- no keyboard, no CAD, no CANumlock^2 (by the way - under 2.0, this rescued
- me from many problem situations, but has never helped with 2.1b. Has it been
- disabled?) and would need an application of the power switch. This could occur
- after a simple telnet session, but was unpredictable. Often, before a complete
- system hang, I'd notice less serious odd behavior - all the keyboard lights
- coming on for a window, for example, loss of keyboard response though the
- mouse still worked, etc.
-
- As a result, I've gone back to CUTCP telnet. Has anyone else noticed
- problems with IBM TCP/IP and 2.1b?
