  18. I installed this under 2.1b on my PS/2 model 90. It seems like the package
  19. does just about everything one could want, but has one rather annoying flaw.
  20. I found that my machine would periodically lock up completely - no mouse,
  21. no keyboard, no CAD, no CANumlock^2 (by the way - under 2.0, this rescued
  22. me from many problem situations, but has never helped with 2.1b. Has it been
  23. disabled?) and would need an application of the power switch. This could occur
  24. after a simple telnet session, but was unpredictable. Often, before a complete
  25. system hang, I'd notice less serious odd behavior - all the keyboard lights
  26. coming on for a window, for example, loss of keyboard response though the
  27. mouse still worked, etc.

  29. As a result, I've gone back to CUTCP telnet. Has anyone else noticed
  30. problems with IBM TCP/IP and 2.1b?
