  22. First of all, neither the person I was talking to nor I said anything about
  23. breaking.  The word we used was certifying.  This means that rather than
  24. ASSUMING that since it worked on 2.0 it will work on 2.1, they will actually
  25. do some testing to prove that it does.  If there are problems, I would
  26. expect Proportional Software to inform IBM of the problems they found
  27. so that it could be fixed before 2.1 is released.

  29. Actually, in a separate note I have mentioned that for me, EZTAPE for PM
  30. (3.1) is apparently broken on the beta.  I've contacted Irwin/Maynard
  31. and after some difficulty in getting someone willing to talk about
  32. beta code was able to report my difficulties with the hopes that they
  33. will check it out to be sure EZTAPE continues to run fine on the
  34. released code.

  36. Overall, I've been very pleased that with the exception of EZTAPE, everything
  37. I use still works just fine under the beta.
