- I thought that such "price-fixing" had been challenged in courts and that
- the discounters won? Maybe it is only in certain states. But there are
- other ways to keep prices high. E.g. allow only "full-service" stores to sell
- the product -- Apple for example has tried that one -- and has succeeded
- in preventing me from ever considering one of their products [as if their
- look-and-feel lawsuits weren't enough reason].
