  18. customize performance for OS/2. Personally, I figure a U.S. release in
  19. August; Canadian release for late September; foreign releases before
  20. the year is out. (U.K.-based releases should be there by October).

  26.      Which was my concern too. However, C.C. made a very good point.
  27. Most of their WP users have been begging for the OS/2 version to be
  28. released, at any cost. So, now you have a release. What else do you
  29. want? Personally, I'd like WP 7.0 for OS/2 next week, but.... :-)

  33.      It will follow the same development path as WPwin is: Release of
  34. 5.2, optimization development, beta testing of 6.0, release three
  35. quarters after the release of 5.2. Which means that we won't see 6.0
  36. until 1994. In fairness, 6.0 for Windows (and therefore OS/2) won't be
  37. changed all that much from 5.2. It's WPdos 6.0 that will be radically
  38. changed. However, that does mean that while everyone else is using an
  39. OS/2-optimized word processor, WordPerfect users are stuck with a port
  40. from Windows. Bottom line: We're a full year away from WPos2 6.0.
