  12. We are thinking of using a commercial C++ library for an upcoming
  13. project, and Zinc and zApp are the two leading contenders.  I would
  14. like to hear from someone who has actual project experience using
  15. *both* products (if such a person exists...).  Can you give the
  16. strengths and weaknesses of each, and which:
  17.  
  18. -    did you prefer to use?
  19. -    had more capability (and in which areas)?
  20. -    was more extensible once your design runs past the
  21.     capabilities of the class library
  22.  
  23. My impression of Zinc, at least, is that it would be a good fit to an
  24. MIS product, but I found it hard to believe that you could build a
  25. robust commercial-quality application on top of it.  zApp's demo
  26. program seems quite poor, but it seems to get good reviews.
