- This should be in the FAQ. This is the 2'nd time today I have
- responded to this question. And the answer is not in the FAQ.

- One should: mkfs -c /dev/whatever howbig

- The -c option tells mkfs to mark and hide any bad blocks. If you do
- not have an IDE drive this should be mandatory. IDE drives mark bad
- blocks automaticly and this is not required.
