- Hmmmm...I'm running a Gateway 2000 486DX/33 with the ATI ULTRA board
- (8514) running the SLS distribution from tsx-11.mit.edu (as of last
- friday - 1/22/93) and linux.99.4 kernel. I use the X8514 server and
- can get that running semi-normally using startx, but I *can't* get
- xdm to work properly...basically it just switches the monitor/card to
- graphics mode and sits there...pressing any key gets no response other than
- a beep. I've basically given up on it...
