  25. Hmmmm...I'm running a Gateway 2000 486DX/33 with the ATI ULTRA board
  26. (8514) running the SLS distribution from tsx-11.mit.edu (as of last
  27. friday - 1/22/93) and linux.99.4 kernel. I use the X8514 server and
  28. can get that running semi-normally using startx, but I *can't* get
  29. xdm to work properly...basically it just switches the monitor/card to
  30. graphics mode and sits there...pressing any key gets no response other than
  31. a beep. I've basically given up on it...
