- Hello there.
-
- I am dying to convert my 386 machine to unix and seem to have the same
- problem over and over. SCSI drives are the last to be supported it seems.
-
- I currently have a 100MB Imprimis 94211 Hard Drive using a
- Data Technologies DTC-3280 SCSI interface.
-
- According to the FAQ if your drive ins't defined in CMOS little chance
- it will work with Linux.
-
- My question is should I wait around for the SCSI support?
-
- Is there a version of Linux that might work with my HD?
- I have only tried Linux .99pl2 so far.
-
- Otherwise I will have to reconfigure my computer to run DOS again.
-
- I ask because I have done a lot of work reconfiguring the PC to just
- boot Linux. I do not want to set it back up for DOS if there is any hope.
-
- Thanks.
-
- Roy.
