  13. I've got a strange problem with TeX/LaTeX. When compiling a medium
  14. sized text with LaTeX I get the following error message:

  16. ! Font \\pbf\@xxvpt=cmbx10 scaled 2488 not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found.

  18. and some lines later a similar one:

  20. ! Font \\pbf\@xxpt=cmbx10 scaled 2074 not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found.

  22. What strikes me, is that the corresponding tfm does exist and already
  23. is used at different scales. So there is obviously an error in the
  24. error message, or am I missing something here?

  31. Linux 0.99.2 on a 386-33 with 8MB. LaTeX is from tsx-11 and works fine
  32. so far on all existing texts.
