- I've got Linux up and running quite nicely on my machine (SLS
- release from tsx-11.mit.edu) including X. X loads fine and
- works well if I use it in 640x480. It will run in 800x600,
- but the screen is shifted to the right by about an inch and a
- half. In 1024x768, I can't get it to sync at all.
-
- My card is a Boca ET4000 SVGA card with 1 Meg RAM. The monitor
- is a Panasonic C1381 interlaced. I have been using the
- interlaced settings in the Xconfig file, but it still won't
- sync quite right. I suspect some of those rather bizarre
- numbers to the right of the screen size may be the cause.
-
- Does someone with a similar setup know what needs to be changed?
- Thanks...
