  11. I've got Linux up and running quite nicely on my machine (SLS
  12. release from tsx-11.mit.edu) including X.  X loads fine and
  13. works well if I use it in 640x480.  It will run in 800x600,
  14. but the screen is shifted to the right by about an inch and a
  15. half.  In 1024x768, I can't get it to sync at all.

  17. My card is a Boca ET4000 SVGA card with 1 Meg RAM.  The monitor
  18. is a Panasonic C1381 interlaced.  I have been using the
  19. interlaced settings in the Xconfig file, but it still won't
  20. sync quite right.  I suspect some of those rather bizarre
  21. numbers to the right of the screen size may be the cause.

  23. Does someone with a similar setup know what needs to be changed?
