- I am having difficulty setting up the S3 driver for my machine. I have a
- 33/486 with a G-HostS3 plus local bus card. I have linux .99p5 installed and
- it works fine except that I cannot get X to work in the mono mode. I followed
- the instructions in the README to use mono but it does not appear to have made
- any difference. Will someone detail the steps involved in finding,
- downloading, and installing the Xfree386 and the S3 driver. I was not able to
- make heads or tails of the various README's and NOTES in the different
- directorys that I search to find the S3 drivers. I am still very new to linux
- (about 1 week) but I have lots of SunOS experience.
