  14. I am having difficulty setting up the S3 driver for my machine.  I have a
  15. 33/486 with a G-HostS3 plus local bus card.  I have linux .99p5 installed and
  16. it works fine except that I cannot get X to work in the mono mode.  I followed
  17. the instructions in the README to use mono but it does not appear to have made
  18. any difference.  Will someone detail the steps involved in finding,
  19. downloading, and installing the Xfree386 and the S3 driver.  I was not able to
  20. make heads or tails of the various README's and NOTES in the different
  21. directorys that I search to find the S3 drivers.  I am still very new to linux
  22. (about 1 week) but I have lots of SunOS experience.
