- Hi...
-
- I just upgraded to SLS v1.0 and am having some
- weird problems. The major problem is that it wasn't a
- problem before I upgraded :((
-
- Awhile back, I had the same problem with the old
- release...the modem answers, but doesn't issue a login
- prompt.
-
- The modem is a Worldblazer (Telebit), the port is
- locked at 38400 and there is a 16550 on the port.
-
- Echo is off (E0) and I've tried using all the 'quiet'
- modes (0-2).
-
- Now, I saved and re-installed my /etc/default/uugetty.*
- files that worked under the old version of SLS, with the following
- set:
-
- INIT="" A\p\T\pZ\p\r\n
- CONNECT="" ATA\r CONNECT\s \p ""
-
- I still havent' figured out how to read these, so help
- would be appreciated for that :)
-
- NOTE: the INIT/CONNECT's did work under getty_204 that
- I installed on the old release
-
- thanks..
