- Hi all-
- I am new to Linux (~12 hrs now) and have managed to install the base system on
- my 386/387 system and would now like to take a crack at installing x windows.
- I have the SLS disks x1-x6, on which the files are .tpz. These are not
- compatable with the install option on the Linux menu. I have installed gzip,
- but am at a loss as to the exact procedure to use it to install from the floppy
- drive (if it helps, its a 1.2Mb 5.25" drive). I would appreciate as detailed
- instuctions as anyone feels compelled to send me.
- Thanks in advance.
- Phil.
