  13. Hi all-
  14. I am new to Linux (~12 hrs now) and have managed to install the base system on 
  15. my 386/387 system and would now like to take a crack at installing x windows.
  16. I have the SLS disks x1-x6, on which the files are .tpz.  These are not
  17. compatable with the install option on the Linux menu.  I have installed gzip, 
  18. but am at a loss as to the exact procedure to use it to install from the floppy
  19. drive (if it helps, its a 1.2Mb 5.25" drive).  I would appreciate as detailed 
  20. instuctions as anyone feels compelled to send me.
