  13. Hi all,

  15. I'm having problems printing with lpr/lpd on my system (0.99pl2 SLS 1.0). 
  16. I can print normal text files without problems, but when I specify that
  17. the file to print is a .dvi file like so:

  19. lpr -d file.dvi
  20.  
  21. nothing happens.  lpq tells me there are "no entries" but when I do a lpc
  22. status I am told "lp is ready and printing".  Am I using the command
  23. incorrectly?  Is part of the lpr package missing?
