- Folks, what you want is the Free Widget Foundation. They are
- not affiliated with the Free Software Foundation. They are simply a
- bunch of volunteers getting together to produce some free, copylefted
- widgets that the whole world can use. They are desparately in need of
- volunteers for testing, publicity, coordinating, documentation, and of
- course, writing widgets. If you are interested, you should contact the
- mailing list or its coordinator, Brian Totty. Here are the relevant
- addresses:
-
- Brian Totty: totty@flute.cs.uiuc.edu
-
- FWF Mailing List: free-widgets@kazoo.cs.uiuc.edu
-
-
- THIS IS NOT VAPORWARE! There have already been FWF releases of
- widgets. You can ftp them, and I feel really embarrassed that I forgot
- the name of the site (I don't think it's one of the two up there).
- Contact the above people or myself if you are interested in
- contributing or using widgets.
