  15. bad thing, I don't think Motif has much of a future for Linux until it
  16. becomes free distributable in source form.  One of the reasons behind
  17. the success of Linux, GNU software, and X (to name a few examples) is
  18. that the source is readily and freely available and distributable.
  19. Having to rely on other people to get binaries that work with new
  20. compilers and libraries is a bad idea.
