  14. I have put my driver for the Sony CDU-31A CDROM drive on
  15. sunsite.unc.edu in the incoming directory.  This will drive the newer
  16. Sony interface (not SCSI) drives for audio and data.  It is named
  17. sonycd-0.2.tar.Z.  This fixes many problems with the 0.1 driver.

  19. I just talked with Sony (after finishing the driver) and they say this
  20. will NOT work with the older CDU-535.  The CDU-31A is Sony's newer
  21. bigger faster better drive that came out recently.  I am getting the
  22. programmer's manual for the 535, but I'm not holding my breath about
  23. compatibility.  If someone wants to try it out with a CDU-535, I would
  24. like to hear the results.  I will try to add support for the 535 in
  25. future versions, but since I don't have one, I can't promise anything.

  27. The 0.1 version include xcdplayer; if you want that you will also
  28. need to get sonycd-0.1.tar.Z
